Clever Water

Clever Water is an Australian company that sells and leases an exclusive range of stylish and sophisticated water coolers. Cliffy's Emporium

Cliffy's Emporium is set in an old grocery store down the road from the Daylesford railway station and next door to Wombat nursery.

They pride themselves in having local, seasonal and regional foods and support the people who produce the food we eat, and sell. They have two water stations at Cliffy's on a help yourself basis and even provide water for the many dogs that visit.

With the money raised through their involvement in the Drink For Change campaign they thought it would be a great idea to install a water tank to use the water for the dishwasher and even on their small but effective herb garden.

CERES Cafe

CERES Cafe serving sensational organic food and wine in an urban bush setting. CERES Cafe has a whole host of innovative resource efficient systems such as harvesting its own rainwater and managing all grey water through a biofilter system that waters the grass on the CERES Village Green so it can live up to its name! Bcoz Organic Dining

Bcoz Organic Dining is Melbourne's only certified organic restaurant. Chef and owner Rod Barbey has a strong philosophy to embrace food that is environmentally sustainable, does not include potentially harmful chemicals and tastes the way nature intended. He prides himself on his relationships with his local suppliers of fish, grass-fed meats, cheeses and vegetables.

The extensive wine list showcases organic and bio-dynamic wine together with wines especially blended for some of Australia's premium winemakers. Bcoz offers an experience for all dining needs with vegetarian, lactose- and gluten-free choices. The menu focuses on fresh seasonal ingredients.

Why did Bcoz participate in Drink For Change 2008? Rod Barbey and the team at Bcoz were keen to demonstrate their culture of caring about the environment and a belief that restaurants and cafes can assist in spreading the message to local communities.
